Steve and Sarah got married at a campground in Cowichan, down a logging road, on one of the hottest days of the year. Their wedding lasted several days and was an epic event, which was fitting since they met at Burning Man.
Their ceremony was super sweet, with Sarah crying while talking about how she loves that Steve makes her laugh, and him proceeding to make her laugh with a very long tissue. Steve said that he’s always kissing Sarah’s teeth because she smiles so much. They posed like that for me, but I caught it a few times, because she really does smile all the time (at least when she’s with him).
This artsy crowd filled the campground with large art pieces and themed campsites, making for some awesome photo backgrounds. Aside from all the art, the guests helped out with pretty much everything, from additional photos to food/drink and a gorgeous cake to fun activities for everyone and flowers from her dad’s garden. I loved watching their friends and family laugh and sing together and the mother-of-the-bride firing a potato gun with unrestrained glee (see below).
