Couple Portraits Posts 11
Below are blog posts featuring couple portraits, engagement sessions, anniversary photos and documentary photo sessions featuring couples. Most take place in Greater Victoria, BC, which is a great location for portraits due to it’s beautiful beaches, mountain views, and stunning gardens.
I like to focus on capturing natural expressions and real emotion in my portrait sessions, so I lightly pose couples and direct them using prompts and conversation. Some of these sessions are partially or totally candid, which is a great way to document an important part of your relationship (ex: walking your dog, hanging out at a favourite cafe or pub, doing a hobby together).

Colleen and Jason are Engaged
Colleen wanted to do engagement photos at UVic Finnerty Gardens. I hadn’t shot there in years (since Anne and John’s 2010 wedding, actually) and totally forgot how gorgeous it is.
