I met Nadine and Ron at their gorgeous home in North Saanich at the end of January. It was still pretty chilly, but they put on their happy faces anyway (which isn’t hard when you’re in love like these two). We checked out a couple of beaches nearby, walked in the woods, and took some […]
Couple Portraits Posts 5
I like to focus on capturing natural expressions and real emotion in my portrait sessions, so I lightly pose couples and direct them using prompts and conversation. Some of these sessions are partially or totally candid, which is a great way to document an important part of your relationship (ex: walking your dog, hanging out at a favourite cafe or pub, doing a hobby together).

Karen and Chris are Engaged
I met up with Karen and Chris at Government House in mid-September. I got there early and it started pouring, so I texted them to ask if they wanted to reschedule. They wanted to wait a few minutes and see if it cleared. When they arrived, we grabbed a couple of umbrellas and hid under […]
Brittany and Mark are Engaged

Kim and Rocky Mini Session
Kim and Rocky visited Victoria for their 25th anniversary. They’ve been a couple for 33 years, and they’re still adventuring together (they rode bikes through the region and went ziplining) and enjoying being affectionate, even with the camera on them. We met up near their hotel and wandered along the westsong walkway.
