Kirsten and Derek visited Victoria in 2018 and we did a mini session at Beacon Hill Park. They came back in July to get married on the beach with just the two of them. We headed back to Beacon Hill after the ceremony for some more golden hour portraits.
These two are so adorable together. They’re so cheerful and easygoing and clearly happy in their own little world together. They perfectly demonstrate what’s so awesome about elopements. It’s a chance to experience this life-changing moment together without worrying about what anyone else will think. They were free to be as emotional as they wanted and just enjoy the company of their favourite person. Well, they did have to put up with me and my second shooter Bud for a couple of hours, but I think they had fun!
The always awesome Bud helped me out that day and he took a phone photo for the couple too.
