Angela and Ben got married at The Galiano Inn at the end of March. They live in Edmonton, so winter weather wasn’t a problem for them. It actually started raining just as we were wrapping up the portraits and only drizzled a bit throughout the ceremony.
These guys have amazing taste, making this one of the most stylish weddings I’ve photographed. Everything looked great from Angela’s great choice in hair and makeup artists (check out her gorgeous loosely-pinned hair style and natural but glam makeup), stunning wedding dress, and killer bouquet to the always beautiful Galiano Inn and bridesmaids and groomsmen outfits that matched the ocean views.
The real highlight of the wedding was the energy and spirit of the couple and their guests. They had guests tell jokes at the reception to get them to kiss (they’d only kiss if someone laughed, of course), and their family and friends gave some sweet and funny toasts. The dance floor was lively and fun, making for some awesome action photos, and the couple made sure to visit with their guests who had come a long way to be with them.
I just had to include the below GIF from when Angela walked into the bathroom to put her earrings on, then realized the effect of her hair and makeup. Darn right, you look gorgeous.
