Elyse and Tasem (rhymes with “awesome”) got married on a dock in a Prospect Lake backyard in early August. It was an intimate wedding with only family and friends-like-family. Elyse and Tasem did a first look before the ceremony and Tasem had the best expressions awaiting her arrival and once he saw her. I love the photo of them hugging. Barbara Densmore officiated and helped the couple create a unique ceremony that involved stones to remember those that couldn’t be there and writing messages on stones for the couple to keep. Their son was quite possibly the most stylish (and cutest) kid in a suit ever.
They had a small reception at Bear Mountain with beautiful flowers and delicious appetizers. The kids ran around, like at the ceremony, and everyone chatted and celebrated. Elyse’s parents gave some sweet and funny toasts and then the couple figured out how to cut the cake without causing a collapse. The stunning mountain view from the patio made for a great setting to wrap up a beautiful day.
