So, I’m way behind on blogging weddings from this year. Don’t worry, the couples all got their photos ages ago. Now I get to share them with the rest of you.
I love backyard weddings. I sadly only had one this year, but it was so much fun. Claire and Pat are laid back and fun, and so was their wedding. It was a small event in his parents’ backyard.
They did a first look next to the house (Pat had the sweetest expression when he saw Claire), then we headed to Mt. Tolmie for a remake of their engagement photos. The ceremony was sweet and intimate. Their family made a lot of the food, with some help from Cook’s Day Off. They cut their heart-shaped cake, did a champagne toast, and danced their first dance, but the rest of the reception was totally unstructured and relaxed. These guys know how to celebrate.
