Michelle and Vincent came from Toronto to get married in Victoria just before Christmas. They were in a great mood, despite the wind and the cold. Michelle gave plaid shawls to her bridesmaids, which they made good use of.
We started the day at Michelle’s parents gorgeous house, where there were some sweet family moments. I love the photos of the sister pep talk. All of the girls got emotional seeing Michelle in her dress, then Michelle joined in and out came the Kleenex box.
The ceremony and reception were at Open Space gallery, which provided a very cool blank canvas for these artistic people to style. The wedding had a bit of a Christmas-y feel with red, black, and white decor and some greenery. The toasts were some of the most fun and funny of the year, with people telling stories of questionable veracity, along with some hilarious video and slideshows.
The dance floor was lively, with some mama’s partying it up to Mamma Mia, standing cuddle piles, some killer moves from the wedding party and their dates, and the bride and groom being totally adorable together.
