Laura and Craig and their families traveled from across the US for an intimate wedding at Parkside Hotel in Victoria, BC. The day was beautiful with a lot of great work from local vendors and lots of joy from the guests.
They brought bouquets and boutonnieres for all of the guests to wear and the kids handed them out before the wedding, while reading a little note about each person. The bouquets, including the bride’s, were colourful and artificial (and thus made great souvenirs). Everyone played hand painted maracas in a circle surrounding the couple at the end of the wedding.
They made the reception fun with a game of family trivia Jeopardy and some line dancing. Everyone loved looking through the mini albums of old photos. Plus, they had a S’mores bar along with a yummy cake.
